It turns out that diplomacy is hard – very, very hard, in fact – and maybe real estate millionaires are not quite suited to the task. And back-to-back summits may have made things worse<\/p>\n

Overnight, Vladimir Putin’s Russia hit Ukraine with a ‘massive’ wave of drone and missile attacks<\/a>. You just might come to the conclusion that Putin is not interested in peace.<\/p>\n

Putin is showing zero interest in a summit with Ukrainian president Volodomyr Zelenskyy \u2013 a glaring fact that demonstrates Trump’s impotence as a “peacemaker”<\/a>, so much so that the aging former game show host has stepped back from peacemaking efforts<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Russia is also demanding it force its way into international talks on Ukraine’s security<\/a>. Zelenskyy correctly calls bulltrump on Russia, citing the overnight Russian attack on Ukraine as further evidence that Putin isn’t “really going to engage” in any peace effort<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Republicans are quietly telling Trump not to compromise with Putin<\/a>. <\/p>\n
