Anger is growing across the nation in the wake of Alex Pretti’s death at the hands of border patrol agents.

Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison blasted Donald Trump and top officials of his administration yesterday for putting out a “flat-out insane” narrative regarding the shooting death of Alex Pretti. Democrats are intensifying their demand that DHS Sec’y Kristi Noem resign or face impeachment. A growing number of Republicans are pushing for an investigation into the tactics that federal immigration authorities are using in Minnesota. Naturally, JD Vance had to run his mouth – and California Gov. Gavin Newsom rained holy hell down on the pudgy veep.
This morning, the US District Court for Minnesota “is set to hold hearings in two key lawsuits Monday as state and local officials try to constrain federal immigration operations in the state“.
According to multiple reports picked up by Raw Story, Donald Trump is fuming not only over the execution-style killing of 37-year-old ICU nurse Alex Pretti, but also over how officials have handled the fallout. This morning, news outlets reported that Trump is sending so-called “border czar” Tom Homan to Minnesota as one expert suggests Kristi Noem is finished. According the FOX News’s Bill Mulegin, there’s major trouble in DHS paradise over their messaging on the Pretti killing. Reporters at the NY Times are hearing similar things from within the DHS family.
Right-wing oligarch Rupert Murdoch’s two New York based newspapers blasted Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem’s response to Alex Pretti’s killing.
Meanwhile, in what looks like outright extortion, US Attorney General Pam Bondi made insane demands as she demanded Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz comply with three orders to “restore the rule of law” in a letter sent Saturday after Pretti was shot dead.
And, of course, Sundowning Donnie Demento is blaming a welfare fraud investigation for “violent” protests in Minnesota – as if nothing else is a factor.
