Renee Good Murder: ICE steps up pressure as protests intensify

The Minnesota Star-Tribune reports that 1,000 more federal officers are heading to Minnesota as protests spread – late Monday, hundreds of protesters clashed with ICE outside a Somali mall in St. Cloud. And Minnesota prosecutor Mary Moriarty could approach prosecuting ICE agent Jonathan Ross for killing Renee Good.

And the late Ms. Good is not alone: Four migrants died while in custody of U.S. immigration authorities over the first 10 days of 2026, while at least 30 people died in ICE custody in 2025.

ProPublic has identified over 40 cases of ICE agents having used banned chokeholds and other moves that can block breathing: “We showed former police and immigration officials videos of incidents. They said agents are out of control. One said it’s ‘the kind of action which should get you fired.’”

Border control commander and not-quite-tall-enough leather trench-coat model Greg Bovino has said “hats off” to the ICE goon who killed Renee Good as he pushed the false narrative that Good had the intent to harm ICE agents.

And who are Bovino and his fellow brownshirts hiring? An anti-ICE activist managed to infiltrate the department and was offered a job — despite the huge red flags he flew!

In Minnesota, tensions continue to flare as protesters and federal agents repeatedly square off. Meanwhile, the FBI’s “inquiry” into the murder of Renee Good by an ICE goon is taking a Gestapoesque turn, focusing on Good’s alleged ties to activist groups.
