That’s the consensus as Utah state law enforcement appears to have a man in custody.
The New York Times reports that Kash Patel angrily lashed out at his aides on Thursday over the slow pace of the Charlie Kirk murder investigation during a tense meeting at FBI headquarters.
Late Thursday, Gov. Josh Shapiro put Trump on blast for his ‘Dangerous’ response To Charlie Kirk’s killing. This morning, Fox & Friends co-host Brian Kilmeade declared the FBI may be “in disarray.”
Per Mediaite, “Former Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe said he was ‘at a loss to understand’ why FBI Director Kash Patel visited Utah amid the ongoing search for Charlie Kirk’s killer. … [T]hat’s the last thing you wanna do to the field office while they’re in the middle of investigating a critical incident.”
In strong contrast, Utah’s law enforcement organizations have given the appearance of pulling out all the stops. In a Thursday evening news briefing, the state released more surveillance footage showing a person of interest running across the roof of a Utah Valley University building in what appears to be an effort to escape the scene of Kirk’s killing.
A security expert reportedly warned Kirk of a “100%” chance of being killed while speaking at university campuses.
Neofascost Rep. Bob Onder (R-Mo.) faced backlash on Thursday for railing against left-leaning Americans following Kirk’s killing.
In strong contrast, former congressman – and former Republican – Joe Walsh shared a scathing analysis of Kirk that had been written before the shooting on his Substack.
Meanwhile, a public relations staffer for the NFL’s Carolina Panthers has reportedly been fired over a controversial Instagram post about the assassination of right-wing activist Charlie Kirk. And NDTV reports a member of the US Secret Service has been placed on administrative leave for allegedly calling Kirk a “racist” and his assassination “karma” on social media.
