Overnight, Vladimir Putin’s Russia hit Ukraine with a ‘massive’ wave of drone and missile attacks. You just might come to the conclusion that Putin is not interested in peace.
Putin is showing zero interest in a summit with Ukrainian president Volodomyr Zelenskyy – a glaring fact that demonstrates Trump’s impotence as a “peacemaker”, so much so that the aging former game show host has stepped back from peacemaking efforts.
Russia is also demanding it force its way into international talks on Ukraine’s security. Zelenskyy correctly calls bulltrump on Russia, citing the overnight Russian attack on Ukraine as further evidence that Putin isn’t “really going to engage” in any peace effort.
Meanwhile, Republicans are quietly telling Trump not to compromise with Putin.
It’s about time.
