Iran’s parliament acts after US officials claim strikes on Iranian nuke sites caused ‘severe damage’

Actions have consequencs.

Iran’s parliament has voted to shut Hormuz strait. That’s going to have, well, a negative influence on oil prices. More inflation, anyone?

Mission accomplished? It’s still unclear as to what nuclear capabilities Iran has.

U.N. Secretary General António Guterres said the bombing of Iranian nuclear facilities by the United States marks “a perilous turn in a region that is already reeling.”

One key threat the Pentagon is focused on: Iran’s short-range weapons.

On the morning after the bombings…

Iran has confirmed that the United States attacked three sites believed to be key sites for their nation;s nuclear program.

The Pentagon’s top leaders echoed President Trump’s claims of success – but said it was too soon to say whether Iran still retains some nuclear capability.

Joint Chiefs of Staff chairman Gen. Dan Caine is arguably a bit skeptical of the outcome of the attacks.

Trump’s disjointed, weird late-night speech after the attack claimed ‘peace’ with Iran will come – while threatening yet more war.

Politicians around the world are expressing ‘grave concern’ and urge all parties to de-escalate and return to talks on Iran’s nuclear program.

Former Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev claimed that a number of countries are now prepared to arm Iran with their nuclear warheads.

If Trump was expecting unity from Republicans, he was sadly mistaken: U.S. Rep Thomas Massie (R-KY) declared Saturday evening that his party’s leader, the president of the United States, made an unconstitutional move – and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) was not happy about the attacks at all, reacting to President Donald Trump’s announcement by urging Americans to pray that terrorists do not attack “our homeland.”

The Guardian’s Andrew Roth says that Israeli strongman Benjamin Netanyahu pretty much dog-walked the hapless, aging Donald Trump.
